This piece came to life when I spotted some fireplace screen in my studio. I like the concept of screen. From what? From who? As I was creating this, Hamas attacked Israel in a unprecedented vicious manner and of course. there was retaliatory action. It continues, in its horror. We all one way or another are held prisoner. It may be by design , ours or someone else’s . It colors our world. It is not pretty and at a certain point, it is critical to break out. We have to encourage the screens to drop so that we may see.
