Freestanding Sculptures

As an artist my goal is to create and be challenged by each new sculpture. I strive to not only improve the structure of each piece, but to explore and expand the language utilized in each. Every piece I make has a rhythm of it’s own. A beat that is central to its construct; dependent on those works that came before it and connected by the spirit of growth to those pieces that come after. Within the framework of my art, every decision is the foundation for the next mark.  In turn, each new piece begets the next. Art, as in life, is a learning process: a sequence of events that comprise the moment and an act of creation. I continue to expand, be excited and explore new ground with my work.
